If your part is not available when searching Digi-Key, go to My Created Parts on the left side and use use Create Part to create a symbol and footprint for the part.
Enter the Manufacturer, Manufacturer Part Number and Description (optional). Each allows 254 characters.
Select the Part Classification. Many of these have sub-classifications you can select.
Select Done.
The part is displayed under My Created Parts.
Select the More button to Choose Symbol & Footprint.
Download the part when completed.
A video is available from the Create Part page. To start the video, select the arrow next to Create Part.
